Lychee Luau by Tropic King eJuice Review - eJuice.Deals

Lychee Luau by Tropic King eJuice Review

Get ready to party Hawaiian style in a lychee-scented cloud of deliciousness, thanks to Lychee Luau eJuice by Tropic King! This e-liquid boasts two other fruits as well: pears and peaches! Believe it or not, all three of these fruits have Chinese origins, making them an excellent combination in a single e-juice! I’m a huge fan of peaches, pears, and lychees, so my excitement to try out this unique flavor was nearly uncontrollable. I’ve had great experiences with two other Tropic King e-liquids, so I went into this e-juice review with high expectations. Let’s check out the unboxing now and make our way to the part you’re most curious about: the taste test!

Over the past weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to review two other flavors by Tropic King, of which they have six. Grapefruit Gust eJuice was more of an adventure for my tank than my taste buds (which you can read all about in my review), yet I was pleasantly surprised with Cucumber Cooler eJuice’s distinct flavor and long-term use. Lychee e-liquids are growing in popularity as more companies are producing high quality fruit flavors, and Tropic King was quick to jump on the lychee train. Tropic King is produced by the parent company DripMore, who manufacturers all of the King e-liquids (Cookie King, Milk King, Candy King, and Tobacco King).

The packaging, a thin paper box, was colorful and playful. The box and e-liquid label displayed the same information, so we’ll focus on the label. The label had pictures of lychees, pears, and peaches proudly displayed. The background behind the fruits was a calming woodgrain, with the brand logo proudly displayed. The three fruits were listed in corresponding colors to the fruit flavor (pear was a light green, peach was an orange yellow, and lychee was a pink red color). A large banner was placed at the bottom edge of the label, warning that the product contains nicotine and that nicotine is an addictive chemical.

On the left side of the label, there is the ingredient list. The ingredient list was informative as it showed that the flavorings are of food grade level and the VG/PG ratio of 70/30 is listed clearly. Several warnings are listed below that, as well as sale and age restrictions. The nicotine level is 3mg, but you can also get the e-liquid at 0mg or 6mg nicotine strength.

The right side of the label contains allergen warnings, as well as cautions not to drink the e-liquid or allow it to come in contact with your skin. The number for Poison Control is listed directly underneath for quick reference if ingestion or contact occurs. DripMore’s catchphrase “Drip with us”, hashtag, website, and manufacturing information are the last things listed on the label, which is useful if you’d like to check out where your e-juice comes from or if you’re curious about the other e-liquids that DripMore offers. (Side note: I found that the Dripmore website sells their e-liquids for $25, but you can grab a bottle of Lychee Luau on our site for only $11.99!) The expiration date and batch number are clearly stamped on the bottom of the bottle to allow the user to see when the e-liquid should be used by. Now that we’ve exhaustively covered the unboxing, we can check out the fillup!

Lychee Luau eJuices comes in a clear chubby gorilla bottle that holds 100mL of e-liquid. I appreciated that the label edges left enough space to notate the amount of e-liquid left, as well as the consistency and color. The e-liquid had the same color as ginger ale (minus the bubbles), due to the 3mg of nicotine. The consistency was watery and sloshed around easily in the bottle. I unscrewed the child-proof cap easily and observed that the fill-tip was quite slender. This made it easy to insert the tip into my tank and fill up with no mess due to spilling. I have discovered that you can cut the tip at an angle with scissors if you’d like to fill up your tank more quickly.

I held the bottle tip to my nose to detect the scent of the e-liquid and gently squeezed. I immediately detected the fragrant aroma of sweet peaches with a hint of tartness from the lychee. It made my mouth water just to smell the e-liquid, making me fill up my tank eagerly. Once my tank was full, I took my first hit. Let’s go over the actual Taste Test now!

Let me start off by saying the scent of the e-liquid was very different from the actual cloud taste. While there was definitely a light lychee scent, the actual flavor of the cloud was strongly lychee. The inhale was a light sweetness, but the exhale was strong and almost overpowering. The tartness of the lychee was a bit of a shock to my taste buds, but I quickly got used to it and actually enjoyed it! I tasted a faint flavor of peach towards the end of the exhale, and there was a light flavor of pear left on my taste buds. It was a much stronger flavor than I anticipated, so I will warn you to be careful on your first hit.

The throat hit was STRONG. I felt myself getting light-headed if I took too many hits too quickly, so be sure to pace yourself. A single hit satisfied my nicotine cravings, but the flavor was so sweet and tasty I kept taking multiple hits just to refresh my taste buds. The flavor was rich and flowing with every hit I took, never tasting bland or losing its fresh fruit flavor.

The re-inhalation of the clouds was also very unique. Whereas the peach and pear flavor weren’t as easily detected in the exhale, it was very quickly detected as I re-inhaled the vapor through my nostrils. The pear and peach flavor were wonderfully noticeable when I re-inhaled the clouds and I found myself completely charmed by this vape juice. I happily refilled my tank with this e-liquid several times in the course of two days and grew to love the flavor more with every hit.

Lychee Luau eJuice has become one of my top favorite fruit e-liquids, thanks to the strong fruit flavor and refreshing sweetness. Thanks to the use of food-grade flavorings, it doesn’t taste fake and it doesn’t leave behind a nasty aftertaste. Overall, I’d rate it a 9 out of 10. The lychee was very strong and I only detected the peach and pear towards the end of the exhale and the re-inhalation of the clouds. The throat hit was stronger than I was expecting, as was the sharp tang of the lychee. If you’re using this flavor for the first time, you should allow your taste buds some time to get used to this vape juice. The packaging was wonderfully aesthetic and I appreciated the flavor description being listed on the actual label.
