Fuji Apple Strawberry Nectarine by Pachamama eJuice Review

Calling all autumn lovers! Today we have a wonderful fall-themed e-liquid that’s certain to set the mood for all your fall festivities: Fuji Apple Strawberry Nectarine by Pachamama! I love that Pachamama specified exactly which apple this e-liquid is supposed to taste like: fuji. Fuji apples are known to be crisp and juicy, with a sweet and tart flavor that makes it one of the most popular apples on the market. I’ve always loved apple ejuice flavors (specifially To The Max! and Red’s Apple eJuice), and I’ve come to have great respect for all of the flavors in Pachamama’s lineup. This will be the third e-liquid from Pachamama that I’ve reviewed, and I have high hopes that this e-liquid will quickly become one of my favorites. Let’s start out with the unboxing and see if this fruit e-liquid is worth the squeeze!

I’ve had the honor of reviewing Huckleberry Pear Acai and Passionfruit Raspberry Yuzu from Pachahama at the beginning of this month. There are five other e-liquids in the Pachamama lineup, and the Pachamama brand is actually a subsidiary of a brand you may have heard of: Charlie’s Chalk Dust. We carry several other varieties of Charlie’s Chalk Dust, including White and Black. However, the Pachamama lineup is by far the most popular, due to the delicious infusion of three fruits into one e-liquid.

Fuji Apple Strawberry Nectarine eJuice comes in a slim paper box that is boldly colored with the fuji apple trademark colors. All of the box’s information matches the information on the actual e-liquid label. A dark red slowly fades into a light green, highlighting the company name as well as the e-liquid’s name (which is also the fruit flavors). The three fruits are clearly depicted below the e-liquid name, followed by the bottle size (60mL) and nicotine content (3mg). A black and white warning banner at the bottom of the label warns that this product contains nicotine and nicotine is an addictive chemical.

On the left side of the label, there are health warnings on who should be using this product, warning not to touch or ingest the e-liquid, and the contact information for Poison Control if contact or ingestion occurs. The expiration date and batch number were located just below this information for quality assurance.

On the right side of the label, sale and age restrictions were listed, along with strict warnings to keep this product away from children and pets. The list of ingredients as well as manufacturing information followed, with a tiny black ribbon on the bottom that showed the VG/PG ratio to be 80/20.

I loved the use of fall colors on the label and was very impressed with the overall design. The official Pachamama website didn’t have any direct purchase option, but we sell Fuji Apple Nectarine for only $9.99. This incredibly low priced e-liquid, along with all eight of the Pachamama e-liquids, are also available for purchase and I urge you to check those out as well. Let’s check out the fillup section of this review as we steadily work our way to my favorite part of any e-liquid review: the Taste Test!

Fuji Apple Strawberry Nectarine eJuice comes in a perfectly clear 60mL bottle. The e-liquid reminded me of extra virgin olive oil, thanks to its bright yellow color and consistency. I was happy to note that the consistency was a good mix between not too watery and not too sludgy. Sometimes with sweet e-liquids, you worry about using an e-liquid that may clog your coils due to being too sludgy or be concerned with getting dry hits if the consistency is too watery. This consistency looked to be the Golidlocks of e-liquids...just right!

The 60mL bottle came sealed with a childproof cap. While most of these caps are pretty easy to remove, this one gave me some trouble. I ended up unscrewing the circular ring part of the childproof seal and the cap itself had some trouble unscrewing. But once I threw out the circular ring part, I was able to rescrew the cap on easily. The fill-tip was fat at the bottom but slowy tapered to a thin tip at the top, making it look like a cone was attached to the base instead of the normal slender fill-tip. I have a habit of squeezing too hard on the bottles in my eagerness to fill up my tank, and apparently I was a bit overzealous in filling my tank with this flavor as well. I ended up having a messy fillup due to e-liquid overflowing from the bottle and spilling into my tank’s chimney and onto the sides. I’m not sure if this was a poor bottle design or my own fault for being too hasty in filling up. Either way, use caution when filling up your tank!

Upon holding the bottle of e-juice to my nose, I could tell that the scent of the e-liquid was very fruity and sweet. I was immediately able to detect the tartness of the apple, the sweetness of the nectarine, and a hint of strawberries. I’m a huge fan of peach flavors, and since nectarine is the same fruit (sans the fuzzy skin), I was excited to take my first puff. Let’s check out the Taste Test now and see if the scent matches the actual taste!

Pachamama’s slogan says that their flavors are “The most desirable fruits on earth blended to an eclectic assortment of e-liquids.” My first hit of Fuji Apple Strawberry Nectarine was everything I’d been hoping for. The inhale has this warm and sweet flavor that washes over your tongue. The exhale is where I tasted all three flavors in unison. One second I thought I’d tasted the fuji apple, but then it tasted like nectarines! The strawberry flavor was thoroughly blended into the entire cloud, but it wasn’t immediately detected like the nectarine and the fuji apple were. I tasted more of the fuji apple as an aftertaste on my tongue, which was absolutely delicious and refreshing.

The scent of the clouds via re-inhalation had this warm and smooth scent that had all three flavors mingled together, but again, it alternated between the apple and the nectarine. I was very pleased with this flavor, and was surprised to have such a strong apple flavor throughout the entire vaping session. I went through a little more than half of the bottle over three days before writing this review. The flavor was strong and smooth with every puff and I never tasted a blandness or got bored of the flavor, in spite of taking multiple hits. The nicotine hit was satisfying from the first hit, but it was a little strong. I found myself wanting to cough if I took too many hits too quickly, so be mindful if you habitually chain vape your favorite flavors.

On a bit of a downside, I got a few dry hits towards the end of the exhale. I’ve noticed this flavor comes up often in apple e-liquid flavors, so keep that in mind if you vape this on a used coild. This was the first e-juice I used on a new coil (and over a period of at least three tankfuls) so I know it wasn’t the fault of clogged cotton in my coil. But overall, this was a delicious apple e-liquid that I heartily enjoyed all day for three days. The flavor was pure and sweet, with a very authentic taste that reminded me of the days I’d go apple picking and enjoy a freshly-picked fruit.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d rate this e-liquid as a 7. The apple flavor was crisp, the nectarine flavor was sweet, and the strawberry tied the two flavors together beautifully. However, the slight taste of burned cotton found its way into my mouth occasionally and I feel that it’s worth mentioning. This e-liquid definitely makes the cut for my favorite fruit e-juice flavors, but it didn’t have that “wow factor” that the Huckleberry Pear Acai or Passion Fruit Raspberry Yuzu did. Perhaps I simply prefer the exotic fruit flavors! But in comparison to other apple-centric e-liquids, Fuji Apple Strawberry Nectarine definitely ranks as one of my favorites.
