A Beginner's Guide to Selecting the Best Vape Juice
If you're new to vaping, picking the right vape juice can be a little intimidating.
From flavors to nicotine levels, there are a lot of choices to make. With the usage of vaping products rising due in part to its relative safety compared to smoking, there are now more choices than ever.
To learn more about how to select vape juices, keep reading.
Know Your Flavors
The main thing to consider when looking for vape juice is the flavor. After all, the other factors matter little if you don't like the flavor.
Thankfully, vape juices are available in almost every flavor you can imagine.
If you're looking for something simple, e-liquids are available in flavors that match many cigarette brands. More exotic flavors are available too, including many fruits, food, and even cocktail flavors.
For those starting out, consider picking something a bit milder. Look for something that matches your favorite brand of cigarettes. Then choose something bolder if you want to be a little more adventurous.
To Select Vape Juice: Know Your Types
Most vape juice is made of either vegetable glycerol (VG), propylene glycol (PG), or a combination of the two. All types have advantages and disadvantages.
VG tends to provide quite a bit more vapor, while PG usually produces better flavors.
Lucky for vape connoisseurs, most e-juices are actually a combination of both PG and VG. Combining the two gives users a better combination of vapor and flavor.
A ratio of 40% PG and 60% VG tends to produce a good mix for most users, but try experimenting with different combinations and find out what you prefer.
What About Nicotine?
Once You've picked a flavor and considered your e-juice types, it's time to think about nicotine.
One of the great things about e-juice is that you can actually choose your nicotine level based on how much of the stuff you prefer.
If you're a light smoker who might make it through half a pack a day at most, you may want to go with a 3mg nicotine strength. E-liquids also come in 6mg strength, giving you a bit more nicotine.
Other blends can reach anywhere from 9mg all the way up to 36mg in strength for heavier smokers.
Unless you're a heavy smoker, try starting with a lighter strength and working your way up if you feel like it's too weak. The less nicotine you can use, the better .
Now It's Your Turn
Now that you know a little more about what makes up most e-liquids, it's time to select vape juice that's right for you.
Before you decide what you'd like to pick up for yourself, see if you can try a few flavors or buy a couple of different types in smaller quantities. This helps you get an idea of how the different ingredients and flavors work for you.
In the end, it's up to you and important for you to test and decide what works best for you.
